Partners
With the goal of expanding science outreach efforts and bringing science closer to society, PELD POPA has launched an initiative to establish partnerships with local schools and institutions. This initiative aims to strengthen the dialogue between the program and the community, bringing information about biodiversity to places where residents and visitors gather.
Partner locations receive a plaque reading “PELD POPA Partner School/Establishment,” as well as informational materials produced by the program, such as copies of the book “Biodiversity in the Tapajós National Forest and the Tapajós-Arapiuns Extractive Reserve,” the “Illustrated Guide to Mammals of the Tapajós National Forest and the Alter do Chão Environmental Protection Area,” and informational brochures about the program.
